Joe Lhotka has a life-long love of nature and the outdoors. Joe grew up in the Midwest and the summer vacation travel with his parents to the Black Hills of South Dakota and Yellowstone National Park sparked a passion for the mountains and wide-open spaces of the West. In 1972 Joe had the opportunity to move to Colorado as part of his profession as a Certified. Public Accountant.
Once in Colorado, Joe developed an interest in fly fishing and pursued that interest throughout the Rocky Mountains. Fly-fishing provided an opportunity to travel and enjoy the mountains that he had discovered as a youth. Along with the fishing, Joe began photographing the scenery and discovered another passion in photography. Now retired as a CPA Joe has expanded his photography through study and practice. Joe focuses his photography on fine art landscapes.
Joe resides in Boulder Colorado and travels throughout the West pursuing his interest in both fly-fishing and photography.
